Although Softbank closed in the US OTC Market at $1310 (up $80) the close in Tokyo took us down to $1067 (114,000 Yen or down 16,000 Yen). I assume that the much larger Tokyo market will prevail in terms of ultimate pricing.

The Japanese Internet IPO Market is still rolling along with one new issue, Crayfish (CRFH):

Wednesday, March 08, 2000 12:47:12 PM EST

Crayfish, which provides e-mail services to Japanese businesses, debuted its 4.35 million share IPO today at $24.50 per ADR (American Depositary Receipt). Those ADRs are trading around a level of $100, minutes after they debuted. Investors are snatching up the company as it is one of the few firms trading in America with a stake in the Japanese Internet markets.
