There is no fool proof way as in any method anywhere. A shakeout should be the first sell signal in an uptrend after forming two tops right next to eachother. Should be above the trend line and pos RS. Always check RS of the stock and column it is in, this can help in stops. Also waht RS the sector has vs the S&P 500 also the bullish percents all work into a decision. The signal itself can often be the smallest ingredient in the equation. IT's an art not a science. A scalpel is a gresat tool in the right hands but a disaster in another. Tom
