Diamonds..here is one you missed. brgds

From www.minesite.com Mar 8,2000

Statement by the President: Jonathan Challis

Shore Gold Inc is a former gold producer, listed on the CDNX exchange in Canada. Its main
focus of activity is its 100% interest in the Star kimberlite project located 60 kms east of Prince
Albert in Central Saskatchewan, Canada. The Star kimberlite was discovered in 1996 and to
date, eleven core holes have been drilled into this massive, sill-like body and all have intersected
kimberlite in widths of up to 116.2 metres. In places, the kimberlite is found within 50 metres of
the surface. Macro-diamonds have been recovered from all holes from the previous drill
programme, with the results from the current programme expected within 6 months. Of
particular interest is that the early diamond counts from the 1996/7 drill programme are highly
comparable to early sampling results in the Northwest Territories which ultimately led to the
discovery of the Ekati and Diavik deposits of Diamet Minerals and Aber Resources
respectively.

A combination of factors, which include the thickness of the kimberlite, its proximity to surface
and the existing excellent local infrastructure gives the directors and management of Shore the
added confidence that the Star project has the potential to become one of the first economic
diamondiferous kimberlites that have been discovered in Canada. In addition, its size (potentially
in excess of 250 million tonnes) makes it one of the largest kimberlites discovered in Canada to
date.

Shore has an extensive land position prospective for diamonds in the area and less than 25% of
Shore's land holdings have been the subject of an airborne survey. As well as the Star anomaly,
Shore has other targets to follow up in the area that has been flown. In addition to its kimberlite
interests, Shore has interests in three other exploration projects ? all in Saskatchewan. The
100% owned Virgin River property covers numerous copper, nickel and gold anomalies,
straddling a major shear zone over a 10km length. The 51% owned (Shore is the operator)
Munro Lake gold/copper project 4 kms from the producing (60,000 oz/year) Seabee gold mine
of Claude Resources covers a well mineralised zone of shearing several hundred metres in
length and up to 15 metres in width. Limited sampling on parts of the outcrop has returned gold
grades of up to 0.41 ozs/tonne and copper grades of up to 1.62%. Shore has a 15% interest in
the Jojay Lake gold deposit with reserves of 397,000 tonnes at a gold grade of 0.22 ozs/tonne.
