Simba,

I still have majority (80%+) of my index fund money in the S&P500, but I am slowly switching out to NASDAQ100 (may take 2-3 years to switch out completely by my estimates).

I think that the US economy is changing. In another 25 years 50%+ of the US economy will be technology based. Dilberts will rule the earth. :-)

The goal of indexing is to invest in the companies representative of the economy.
