even though I do not agree with the way you challenged Shane.

Well actually, Nipeta you might want to get your facts straight. I just recently began posting on the Yahoo thread knowing full well that Shane had been posting there for quite some time.

I did not respond to any of Shane's posts. In turn Shane used an obscenity to describe me. So it would seem that Shane is the one who needs his act cleaned up. Moreover, what started the fight between Shane and I on this thread was when I challenged certain calculations of his as reckless and irresponsible. In turn he let loose with a fullside of personal accusations toward me. The main issue at hand was Shane's contention that if LSI ended fiscal '99 with total sales of $2.1 billion it would mean that LSI slightly underperformed the semi market. Since LSI ended up the year with total sales of $2.09 market, and such sales were widely perceived as vastly outperforming the semi market, it is pretty clear who had the facts right on that one.

Nevertheless, I have a great deal of respect for the effort that Shane puts forth. I just don't think that his analysis and factual presentation matches his effort, and as a result I had no problem challenging him as opposed to Duane Olson who would genuflect before Shane and call him the "Wizard."

Beyond that, I am bored with this stuff. I don't think that LSI is going down from here. I just think that it's had its great move for the time being, and I am looking for other places to put my money as well as rest up.
