G' Morning Tom,

Thanks for the welcome, I 'll try to behave and stay out of trouble.

Yes, I would like to know more about the Ibero-American markets, in particular the Argentinean one... I think of all the Latin American countries, Argentina may be in the best of positions to benefit from the exposure to world wide markets.

Just a thought... but if Patagon were to extend from its presence in Argentina's Merval, to Mexico's IPC and Brazil's Bovespa giving the ability to trade this markets electronically...

...together with the potential dollarization projects in Argentina, and maybe in Brazil and Mexico... these markets could become a little more active... and liquid don't you think ?

If not from strong fundamentals, (of the local economies), perhaps they would benefit from possibly capturing some of the existing liquidity in the US markets and a "perverse" *g* desire for "diversification"... (given an easier access to these markets, and perhaps more stability due to the dollarization of their economies).

Interesting that the Spanish bank may be the trigger for this globalization scenario... a form of "Conquest of the Americas" all over again. *g*

I will keep an eye on this.

Best regards.

p.s. I have been trading EMC lately... amazing stock !, incredibly volatile (a trader's dream), yet a solid company, so if one of those short term trades do not work, they are excellent longer term holds, to top this... the premiums on the options are quite generous, (speaking from the sell side). ---> this helps to get out of losing trades sometimes.
