I have seen no comments in this thread about competitors in the flat panel in-store market. In the Chicago area, all 7-11 stores have lcd panels sticking out of the register, that show weather, news, and ads...and in Dominicks a local food chain now owned by Safeway (I think) many of the registers are moving to have flat panel displays showing the cashier and the customer what has passed over the scanner...both of these applications lend themselves to SIDT technology...is SIDT trying to get in this market, or are they already there?
