Hi b-i-a, I think CC is a good idea on any stock you believe in. It becomes just a bit tricky with a highly volatile stock, but those are the ones that pay the high premium. For instance GE pays about 5%. They are a good stock, but not highly volatile. From what I understand, unless you "know" there is about to be news, which will drive the price up, cover half your position each month. Also, if you "think" there may be bad new, you can cover as a defensive position.

Re. RMBS, I watched the run, jumped on, and covered for downside protection. It was purely a play for me to make a good return between now and next Fri.
