Was just reading in the March issue of Sales & Marketing Automation that there is rumor going around of the possible acquisition of Baan by Siebel. This European company has had an impressive list of users but over the last years has fallen behind in innovation. Their CEO recently left. The article pointed out that others are looking at them too and one person felt that Baan would not bring much to Siebel. The March issue hasn't made it to the website yet.
