Dick: Thanks so much for all your insight. I found it interesting that the indicator gave a sell signal right after the treasury announced the intention to complete the first buyback at the long end today. I also found it interesting that the buy signal last month may have coincided with the initial announcement of the buyback by Summers. I also found it interesting that the recent sell signal was triggered as the BKX (Bank Index) is testing its low right now and as GE heads in that direction. FWIW, the closed end munis I follow have been drifting lower over the past month. There is very little interest in these funds. Some sellers always show when the Naz spikes up <g>.
