<<BUY TRIGGER MARCH 7 Stock #1>> this was a 'delay on the uptrend'.. the small bullish gap up today was a signal that the stock would move. Still waiting for 3 5-minute bars was late in that the stock already moved from 43 3/8 to 47. That is just enough to get you stuck and give the stock time to retreat. A buy stop placed at 44 might stop you in on the second leg up. This stock had also a bullish 10 period moving average crossover where the 10 period moving average crossed the 20 period moving average. If #1 is going to continue moving up I would have waited the 3 5- minute bars...even 3 10-minute bars.
