I mostly use taxis in the city (a prerogative of being a middle class grown up), but I like to drive by the shore, usually taking the Cape May-Lewes ferry, on the way back, and I have found, since going around July 4th, that the city empties out so nicely I can get a good drive around the city before leaving.........For a long time, I was paying about $7 a day for parking, then it went up to $11. Imagine my shock when I had to book at a different hotel and was charged $35 a day!.....
