It means ATT agrees with the Feds that it should not own a high speed ISP. The Feds will apply the
same standard to AOL-TWX.


The problem that the feds have is in T owning both, not one.

T wants that telephony deal with Time Warner to go forward, they'll use their stake in RR to secure that deal. They know they won't be able to keep both....it's not a question of if but, at what price do they divest themselves of RR.

Only when people make claims that they will be able to prop up a stock with a 11.6 billion market cap. <g>
