Let us look it this way: If you have $ 30K to invest, would you buy 100 sh of JDSU or 100 shares of NaviSite (NAVI). Stretch it further, which stock would a fund manager buy? Both stocks are splitting 2:1. JDSU will recover.

Disclaimer: I own NAVI which appreciates 2000% in less than 6 months, but have reduced my position.
