Yes, currency is going the way of the proverbial dinosaur to some extent, but the old form will still be with us for many years to come, just as snail mail will be.
It's still going to take a long time for "everyone" to be hooked up to electronic payment systems (we have been doing it that way since 1990), and some will rebel or never want to do things that way..... We live in interesting times, that's for sure, which is also an old Chinese curse, so there is sure to be some negativity associated with all of the rapid changes we are going through, which is getting very scary for some folks.
Interest rates will remain an extremely powerful force to bend and shape the economy in my opinion. And those that own and control gold will also remain important. Yogi
