Interesting. Sony is sure going to crank on Toshiba and LSI Logic for all they're worth, price-wise, in providing the chips for PS2. Competing with PS2 is probably a loser.

Microsoft wouldn't be where they are today w/o Intel, and, I know, vice versa. I would still see a defection to AMD as, well, a defection. I'm thinking of selling my MSFT anyway, probably wait until a settlement (not stupid). Too many great investment possibilities in chips, broadband, wireless, etc. to futz with Mr. Bloatware.
