Dan, do I have to run WIn2000 to take advantage of the dual processors or will they still perform with Win98? You need to run Win 2000. Using dual processors with Win 98 is a waste of money. One processor will never be used. Also, I thought I read somewhere an application has to be designed for multi-threading before it will take advantage of the dual processor. What you say is true for a single application. But even if an application is single threaded when you run more than one application at a time you are running multiple threads. Say you run 4 single applications at one time. This also means you are running, 4 threads, multiple threads concurrently.
