Debby, Debby, Debby. . .[sorry] . . .

I can't really tell you when or where to sell.. .that is your decision to make. . . we provide the questions and answers on what to look for, etc. . . but yesterday, I shifted more than half my tech stocks into cyclicals for the purpose of bulletproofing my portfolios. I still have plenty of cash on the sidelines, looking for bargains and swing trades, while we wait to see what happens.

Whenever I do this I take flack. . .but I am up 1.5% today overall. . .and am feeling VERY safe moving forward. . .so I stand behind my decision.

"Squeezing out that last nickel" is a phrase dripping with greed. To that I say, "Profit Often!" . . .by taking profits when you see a big blow off top, like I did on VRSN. . . you essentially cash out your chips. . .rather than stand there pulling the crank. . . like a deer staring into the headlights. . .thinking that all will be well. . .as you put back all your winnings. . . this is a losers move. . . .winners take their profits, manage their winnings and move on. . . with no emotion and no looking back.

Stock splits are nice for tax reasons. . .or for holding free shares, etc. . . but the run ups are generally on the split announcement. . . when the split occurs, there is often a decline. . . used to be the other way around. . .but that was a different market.

The question you must ask yourself. . .is this. . . "Do I feel lucky?"
