Each one of these products recieves an identification number (technically the .15 is charged for the ID number).

maybe i have it wrong...but lets discuss.

i do not think it is the products that have ID #s...it is the chips.
did you know that each individual chip has a separate and distinct 48 digit ID #. that was explained to me in detail by an echelon engineer.
if the .15 is for each ID # and each chip has its own ID#......see what i mean?

that is how the lonworks system works...each and every chip is identifiable separately...this keeps your neighbor from being able to access your system with his cell phone.
