Trying to makes sense of the arb....the only thing I can think of is the MM's, wall street, etc are NOT GOING to let EB have COMS fly so he can spend PALM money - I think he really pissed folks off (including me) with his arrogant attitude that COMS stock is his to do what he pleases with...especially since this stock has been a dog under his leadership and he has the gall to go dilute shares with someone elses curreny! Ours!! I own COMS to get PALM shares, not to have him buy another networking company cause COMS does not know what the (**(^* to do with em....

My 2 cents...

Before trying to show off your vocabulary, might you want to brush up on punctuation rules?

Guess MA..... The Net and Handhelds are only loosley coupled. Microsoft will sell the handhelds through existing channels for windows - via Dell - via CPQ - via GTW - etc. Handhelds are consumer products and they are price sensitive. I believe Microsoft will be able to compete... you heard it here and have been hearing it here for a few months now. I had the foresight to note that Microsoft would be back with a better product than the "CE" you so enjoyed beating up. Now everyone is calling it vaporware - in apparent disbelief - or ignoring the obvious. Microsoft is BaaAAAck. We shall see. IMO Msft has the wherewithall to get back into this market in a major way. They will not simply walk away and let PALM OS gain any more traction than they have.... not without a fight. Apparently you are of the belief the PALM can hold their own against Microsoft. You may be right. I wish you luck. I don't believe they can. There is a lot more to selling an OS than the sale. Microsoft has developer support down and they have thousands of ISV's at their beckon call.
