I run netscape 4.72, and in the last 2 weeks have not had 1 crash. And that is surprising cause I've written code that accesses netscape. Maybe it's the operating system that is causing the bulk of problems. I would NOT put it past Microsoft to leave traps in their OS to create crashes in second market browsers.

I only use IE5 for www.zone.com, where Microsoft writes incompatable java code {Does not meet Sun Systems Java Standards}.

IE5 & explorer will crash the windows 98/98se if you are moving large amounts of files {5K or more) from folder to folder. This is a fault I've written to Microsoft on many occasions.
