metaphors are great. i just took light-hearted exception to the one you chose. but if we are to assume for a minute that MSFT is a wounded tiger moving through the jungle... i ask you then, what does that make COMS? i picture a three-toed sloth (gosh, that even fits the 3com theme) whose quickest moves are when it loses its grip and falls like a rock to the jungle floor.
