Struthers, Inc. and Legred Struthers Genetics/Norsvin Become Members Of
National Pork Producers Council

CHARLESTON, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 9, 2000--Struthers, Inc.
(OTC BB: STRU) and its wholly owned subsidiary of Legred Struthers
Genetics/Norsvin announced that they have become members of The Pork
Alliance of The National Pork Producers Council (NPPC).
The NPPC's mission is to enhance opportunities for the success of
U.S. pork producers and other industry stakeholders by establishing
the U.S. pork industry as a consistent and responsible supplier of
high quality pork to the domestic and world market. The NPPC
represents 80,000 producers in 44 states and 700 counties. NPPC member
producers account for 90% of the U.S. hog production. More information
