This is damn fascinating stuff whether I ever make a buck off it or not. Can't wait to learn the details of the technology. Is there a clue in their name - Tera? A play on words? Have they found a way to propagate a signal through the Earth?

Point-to-point laser? Already being done between buildings on large corporate and university campuses. In fact, the range is several miles and in some cases is used to connect tall buildings on opposite sides of the city to the same LAN. It's elegant and extremely secure as long as one can get get and maintain uninterrupted line-of-sight. If they can figure out a way to do it in residential areas on the cheap.....
