FC Directors will be the gorilla at the core of the network. The Gorilla and King thread is a great one. Normally I only lurk on this thread, but with the IDC article today I thought it was worth posting a comment. Ancor will dominate the Director Class Fibre Channel Switch market, and anyone looking for a future gorilla, consider that the e-platform for world commerce, will be built on Data Center SANs, which are currently in their infancy, the baby step building blocks of these SANs are FC Switches, the big step building blocks are Directors. E commerce will go from $billions to $trillions and run on huge FC SANs. JW
