Ken,

As I stated, I am no student of the GG so maybe I should just shut up and let others address the issue of INTC's Gorilladom in new markets.

One factor to consider though is that InfiniBand marks a fundamental and disruptive change in Computing I/O Architecture. Much of the industry debate prior to the formation of the IB Alliance revolved around the issue of Intellectual Property rights and licensing. I am not privy to the resolution of the licensing arrangement. Perhaps someone who is more knowledgeable, and connected, than I am can shed some light on the IB IP question.

Regards,

Douglas
