Funny that you should have mentioned the dog pound. A few months ago D. Chapman from the dog pound started a campaign over on the NMPS thread to denigrate my spec portfolio. He claimed I owned the biggest collection of dogs every assembled on SI and said that he followed me around shorting everything I bought.

In a way it was true at the time as I owned NMPS (average cost $4), FSTW (average cost $3), FONR (average cost under $1), VLNC (average cost $5) VENGF (average cost $0.25). In the past month I have sold NMPS between $12 and $14, FSTW for $17 and FONR for over $3. I sold part of my VLNC holding at 37 5/8 and then bought them back (and more) between $28 and $32. VENGF I am still holding but they trade now around $3.

I intend to hold VLNC (I may trade part again) until at least $50, I have bought back FSTW in the 12's and VENGF has a way to go IMHO.

Dogs they may have been but they have all been very profitable dogs.

By the way D. Chapman still posts over in the dog pound but he stays clear of me and my dogs - he found that they had some bite in them! LOL....
