bb, oj.... one thought that crossed my mind as people are talking about the 'insane' valuations for the naz vs the dow... back in the '20s, i don't believe most of the radio companies were in the dow. and the other sectors which definitely changed the course of the country - even if the stocks, in years to come, didn't follow suit. i wonder if a 'sector' was chosen of the top companies...if it would show a relationship similar to the naz/dow now (don't forget, only 2-3 years ago, were were at a 6/7:1 dow to naz; now we're at 2:1) btw, there are plenty MORE good internet companies that will come down the pipeline. good relative to internet...but as long as the ideas are there, so will valuations as people look to the future...
