Kendall: A century ago the horse and buggy manufacturers thought they were in the horse and buggy business. They weren't, they were in the transportation business...and resisted the automobile. They might have "joined" the automakers... merged, invested, bought a few of 'em . A similar situation seems to be occuring these days; lotta companies are digging in their heels, resisting the "revolution." Fund and institutional money is ignoring them. Too many of these firms, and analysts are selling themselves on the "We've got the value" myth. Woe is them. (Lee)
