I never visited. Never got very far from KC. I did go to Lawrence, Kansas, to see KU (it was also the location for the nuclear tv movie "The Day After"), and to Leavenworth to see the base, and we went to Fort Osage in Missouri (historical site), and a little river town, I can't remember the name. Mostly, though, I know the Country Club district and adjacent suburbs.....

bp, I lived close by Branson for a year in 94, and the logistical problem should be solved by now. They were sticking hotels and motels on every hilltop, and in every valley, they could find. There may even be a glut now. For fishing only, go over to Kimberling City, right on the lake. ~H~
