Back when I was there release wasn't happening. I wanted a mount and kept it. I didn't, a family of Mexicans ate it and I paid for a fiberglass replica. The big deal was a fly down from Diego and take the meat back for a cook out among Californians. Hook ups then were 20 minutes on average.

Jeez, when I was a kid in the Keys, 1960, they used to hang dozens of tarpon for photos and toss them to the sharks at night. Now we need to protect the fisheries. Who would have guessed back then?
