No, that will not happen. Even a 40% drop in the naz back to november levels would be met with massive PPT intervention or congress going forward with some goofy partial investment of SSI into the market.

As disgusting as it is, monkey boy is right - he will get to keep much of his gains even if the market goes against him since at some point he will bail into intervention buying. It is the rest of the poor schmucks that are mindlessly putting their money in the market that will get clipped a bit but not really hammered until the whole economy comes unglued.

I see the Merc can't handle the change in the contracts from march to june on their site, not that it does any good to look at where they are trading now. They will be up a bunch come 9 tomorrow. -s-
