Mq,

I have the same feeling toward GSTRF. I lightened up about 2 weeks ago by about 1/3, but am pretty much holding the rest for future opportunities, such as autos.

I guess next time I 'think' lighten up, I should 'act' sell. I'm just turning into too much of an investor. I knew if I hung around long enough that would happen.

Enjoy SD. Great meeting you and your family(part of it, anyway).

Maybe it's just me, but I'm struck by the potential similarities between QCOM stock in late '98 and GSTRF stock here over the last few months.

As I recall (please someone correct me if I'm wrong) QCOM had been rolling through a range from $40-$60 for some period of time when it shot up to around $80 rather quickly. At that point, we had the Asian flu/Korean warning, which caused the stock to drop back to the $40-$50 range one last time. Then the Ericsson deal happened and the rest is history.

Could it be that after bouncing around the teens and 20's for a while, GSTRF ran up suddenly, only to sell off on the slow subscriber expectations? Could it also be that once the subscriber numbers continue to mount, and a future announcement of IRID oblivion, or GSTRF profitability are released, that the dam could burst here like it did for QCOM?

I picked up my first shares today, after watching for quite some time. Let's hope the GSTRF/QCOM stock price similarities continue.
