There were about 80 at the post-match SI lunch. I suppose there were maybe the same number who are SI members but who don't bother with group-type stuff because it's expensive, time-wasting and boring to them. Or they didn't see the information. Or they are more the lurking type who are reading this RIGHT NOW - YES YOU - you sneaky read only type!!! That guy who is wondering if I mean him! Yes you. Also you, yes that brown-haired lady with the glasses and the cup of coffee just to the right of the keyboard - who is thinking she should be getting on with things instead of wasting her time reading this......yes, you! We saw you grin - Qualcomm has got new technology which gets photonic feedback from monitors which shows fairly clearly the face of the person looking at the monitor. They gave SI members a copy of the software so we can see who is reading our stuff. It's great! You wouldn't believe what some people wear [or don't wear] and do while they are messing around in front of the screen, anonymously [they think].

So, I guess maybe 200 SI members attended the Symphony Hall.

I think the festivities are largely over by now! But I'm hanging around in case somebody sells some cheap stock while I wait for heat as well as sun. Also have to try the stupid golf clubs again! I'll try leaving the glove thing off.

PS: There are lots of SI people who live in San Diego. If you drive 100 miles south, they might or might not be there [and available]. Symphony Hall is now, I guess, full of the music again. No Q!
