Jim Wille, I believe I remember reading that you just moved to Florida (Tampa area?). If you haven't been to Sanibel-Captiva Islands yet, you are in for a treat, my friend. Only about an 1 1/2 hours south of you down I-75 to Fort Meyers. Once you cross the causeway from Fort Meyers to Saniel you feel as though you have gone from South Georgia to the South Pacific. I'm headed down tomorrow for a little R&R before heading to the N.C mountains. (hey no offense to any Georgians who might happen to own a porch around here). Pinhi See ya in about 10 days!

Errr...sounds like sour grapes to me. Since you were quite smitten with her for a good long while and harbored hopes of...and called her daily... Since you're honest I'm sure you'll admit that. As for northern/southern, it doesn't help you to set up some simple external dichotomy that if only it were true would resolve a lifetime of disappointments about women. It may feel good to mentally construct it that way, but human nature is pretty basic. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Partly cuz you carry it with you. So if you move south you'll have to face that. Maybe it's better to live in the north and be soothed by the fantasy.
