PB - Re: "Wouldn't that be a pip? - AMd or Intel CPUs for the X-BOX" My guess is that Microsoft has been playing AMD and Intel off against each other for MONTHS to get the lowest bids. I would assume all the leaks about the X-BOX using the AthWiper were "well placed" in order to extract the maximum concessions from Intel - assuming Intel wanted to go the distance with this concept. Tomorrow we may know - but even then, there is plenty of time between now and next year to toggle back and forth from Intel to AMD - and back !! Paul
