Comment: No way...AMD announces record earnings and comments on Dresden fab...MFST is not factored into price of AMD at $57.50...With MFST deal AMD = $75 in one week...Without, AMD = $63 plus within one week...

AMD can sell all the Athys they can produce with or without Xbox...AMD's primary benefit with Xbox is the benefit that is derived from the additional endorsement/affirmation of MSFT for the Athy to which there probably is a significant financial cost attached...AMD does not need MSFT's Xbox endorsement, but, if MSFT is to have any chance of success with the Xbox, they need the "spry Athy" under the hood...

The really big pending news is the imminent AMD announcement upwardly revising Q1 earnings...and that's without MSFT! With or without MSFT, Q1 earnings of $1.00 and Y2000 earnings between $4.00 and $7.00 supports a much higher AMD price than $57.50...Other big news is that the ATHY is rolling out so well that AMD is considering foregoing the previously thought requirement of any aditional Dresden tenant!

It will be an interesting day tomorrow...valatility for certain but don't rule out a close above $60 if AMD holds an earnings press conference...not the 11th this time, have to be satisfied with the 10th as the 11th falls on Saturday!
