Hold on, Harry. I goofed.

I just looked up some historical data specific JDU.TO, and there is a split reflected 29Feb. If I had been careful enough to read the next paragraph of the press release, I would have found the following:

"The Exchangeable Shares will commence trading on a post-split basis on The Toronto Stock Exchange on February 29, 2000. The Common Stock will continue to trade on Nasdaq on a pre-split basis, under the symbol ``JDSU,' until March 11, 2000, when the Common Stock will commence trading on a post-split basis. Additionally, during the period beginning March 3, 2000, through March 10, 2000, the Common Stock will also trade on Nasdaq on a post-split basis, under the symbol ``JDSUV.' "

Which means that you bought the post-split "exchangeable" JDU shares.

Sorry about the bad info. Hope you didn't make any plans on it in the last hour.
