I go to Reuters Moneynet to copy the high/low data. I'm only posting the new highs that were over 500 since last October's low:

March 1 512 new highs Nasdaq 4784
March 6 504 new highs Nasdaq 4904
March 9 294 new highs

One of the sources for the shrinkage is likely the Biotechs. I haven't run a scan of the database on 20-day, 40-day, and 1-year highs and lows yet to identify the source of the shrinkage. Incidentally, I got a 100-0 AIQ buy signal on the Dow/NYSE today due to Stoch crossover, ROC of EMA of price caused by the double bottom on the Dow, highs/lows improving. We could get a couple of good days at most with the VIX this low.
