Actually, I think that there are so many schools of Economics (not a hard science) that it gets plain confusing often. I do hope that I have some original ideas and am not a blind follower of anybody.

How about Richebacher as understood by you?

Mike and BGR:

The good doctor, in spite of his advanced age, is also one of the few "diggers" still left within the economic research gang. He amazes me. Virtually every few months, he digs up yet another excellent revelation with respect to the broad picture and he backs up his findings with hard data, something that is rare these days. BGR, you would find his work both fascinating and useful. Mike does you a favour by recommending it.
