OFF TOPIC TO GORDO:

Up 33% one day, down 25% the next, VMI is back to .31.
VMI may be a hard one to figure out. Here a response I got back from IR yesterday.

Hello David,

The positive reaction to news of hiring Garry Meier did send us a definite
message. We were very disappointed in his decision to leave after such a
short period of time. He is still in contact and was very actively involved
in the company until February 15th. Mr. Braconnier's position as president
is on an interim basis. The ongoing discussions regarding strategic
alternatives may impact on the office of president and CEO, but without full
public disclosure we cannot elaborate at this time.

Personally, I am looking forward to our next positive news release to watch
the reaction of the stock. The new exchange appears to be much more active
than the ASE, and has been very interesting to watch.

Just for your info, we have been in existence since 1979, and the management
and employees are largely stockholders as well. We are all working toward
improving our stock performance.

Let me know if I can help again,

Joan Dickson

All of these good off topic value stock posts, we should call this thread "small cap value investing". It is good to see most of the old timers are long on TOMmy, though.

Another pick I have followed since I got into TOM is CUQ-TSE. It has revenues of $20 / share, earnings of .20 and no debt and is trading at $1.75.

It is up .50 in the last couple weeks in anticipation of their year end which should be announced March 20. The thread is dead, so I don't think much of the buying is retailers.
