Seems Mooney wants to sell the entire plane. The other way is to get a 20% piece of the vehicle, for example, then work around your travel times with that.

It's not so much the upfront costs, a lot has to do with the costs of fuel, pilots, airport costs and such..... a lot of recurring costs. The plane itself is not a major factor, it's the maintenance.

You could buy a used Jet, for example, and your overhead is nominal on the fixed cost. But Fuel/Pilots/Gates still kill ya.

Then there is that faggy lobster dinner you just had to have. General Aviation loves to whack you up for that.

Nah, I just don't have the long green for that stuff. It would be kool though. Been in a few small planes, it definitely kicks the daylights outta commercial.
