Steven, I can understand most of your positions, and we would probably disagree on some, and agree others but, all of us have been exercising a lot of disagreeing over the last few months, and I don't want to start again right now. I would like to same something for Bush, though. I will be the first to admit that he lacks something as an orator but, being a Texan since 1942, and being actively involved in politics since 1960, I have seen a lot of Governors in Austin, and Bush has achieved more in reforms of financial considerations than any before him. The list of the things he has done to improve all facets of the state is too long to list here, and I would probably leave something out. Most outstanding, though, are that our children are being better educated, our teachers are being better paid, much of the graft and corruption of the welfare system has been eliminated, especially in the food stamps program which have been replaced with a voucher system that directs the aid to the more deserving, and needy people, while freezing out most of the con artists.

I realize you are in a quandry as to who to support but, remember, if you do not vote at all, your relenquish your right to gripe about the government you get. I hope you can be swayed in Bush's direction. ~H~
