Mike - I was thinking more in terms of quantity than anything else.

The last time I saw some figures, operating systems were distributed about as follows:

Windows 90%
UNIX 10% believe this includes Linux & Solaris
MAC ???

I wouldn't consider these numbers exact in any way. However, the current "windows monopoly" pretty well governs where the profitability would be - unless, of course, CTXS can extract an exhorbitant price from the smaller market.

I am really ignorant about the PALM and wireless market. If anyone has any real data, I'd sure like to see it. For now, though, I believe that these are "emerging" markets and the extent of the CTXS growth in this area remains to be seen.

I won't question your statement: "It would seem like this ( I assume this is CTXS ) would add a great deal of value to those devices." I just don't know the value of this market to CTXS's bottom line - and do know that CTXS has to be in these markets.

If these portable computing devices become a mass market, none of my conjectures make any sense. I obviously have some homework to do.

Thanks for the input Mike.
