Starkey is a year behind Siemens and Siemens is stealing the market place. Some time ago, it might have been two years ago, I vaguely remembered an article in Forbes illustrating poor management in Starkey which resulted in one of the board or family, breaking a way and setting up competition. I tried to find the article in Forbes but got no answer. With their terrible delays in bringing the product to market it does seem to be a pretty useless company. Anything that Q gets over zero would seem to be a bonus.
