ANTS update. Hired a scientist from Oracle, that previously worked at SUN. He has an impressive background. Worked at Oracle Application Server Div., Oracle Networked Business Technologies, Oracle Sun Products Div. He was Senior Staff Engineer at Sun Microsystems.

Burlingame, California ---- ANTs software.com, (OTC BB:ANTS) (www.antssoftware.com) a developer of advanced technologies to speed up computer processing today announced the addition of an outstanding individual to its senior technology staffing.

Jeffrey R. Spirn, Ph.D. joins the Company from Oracle Corporation to become ANTs? head of software architecture and to take responsibility for its software library procedures. Dr. Spirn has over 20 years experience in operating systems, networks, distributed systems, enterprise management, graphics, and multimedia.

Prior to his position as Architect, Oracle Application Server, Dr. Spirn has also been Architect, Oracle Networked Business Technologies (Universal Server Suite), and Architect, Oracle Sun Products Division. Previously, he was Senior Staff Engineer, Sun Microsystems, Inc., and was a member of the technical staff/project leader at Hewlett Packard Laboratories.

The earlier professional experience of Dr. Spirn includes service with Digital Equipment Corp and Bell Laboratories. He has been a member of the computer faculty of Pennsylvania State University and Brown University.

Dr. Spirn holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a doctors degree from Princeton University in electrical engineering/computer science.
