Action Direct (a.k.a. In Traction Direct, Abstraction Direct).

One of my big beefs with AD is that their website is very poor. For example, the TeleAction, NetAction, and the live brokers are not interconnected functionally to the trading engine; in other words, if i enter an order through the website then i have to use the website to cancel or modify that order -- a real-life investment rep. can not amend the orders submitted through the website. When I hear this sort of thing it suggests a system thrown together -- *in response to customer demand?* -- rather than being properly designed at the outset. Makes me wonder if Royal actually has a biz plan for AD, or if AD is simply an appendage grown out of the corporate bureaucracy of Royal and Dominion Securities. Maybe AD should be renamed Reaction Direct.
