There have been a number of "false starts" so only time will tell if this time is really different. We know that the major hard drive manufacturers have been doing their best to streamline operations and that will help. We know that everyone want more bandwidth and that requires storage, even if it is remote, and that will help. Memory chip makers like MU are seeing stock prices rise to new high levels. The last time that happened it preceded a recovery in disk drive prices. Some might believe that memory chips and hard drive prices are unrelated but I believe it sets a precedent. In order for this industry to see a general recovery there must be a return to high levels of profitability.

Thanks, Sender
