lol, sometimes they can. But Jeff's hard drive crashed last summer, and though he sent it off to recovery people, they never did get anything back. And who knows where her computer is now?

With luck it's still around somewhere. But her parents could have donated it to charity or the like.

Something else that seems to me odd: as far as I know, Suzanne's boyfriend has never been quoted anywhere. He's said to have an ironclad alibi, and so can be eliminated as a suspect. But given all the students who wanted to communicate how much they'd liked and admired Suzanne, it seems strange that he never spoke up.

One would think he'd have been a person she'd have been very close to, confided in. And yet he seems to have played a very small role in her story and in her life, at least as we've come to understand it.
