I wrote a ton of puts today at 40 & 37.5 for April.> Elmer, I see that Kash and Scumbria and Process Boy and others have sold and that makes me have second thoughts but I am carefully watching for an entry point to utilize some of the additional buying power that I have picked up during the recent rise. I think that the XBox will be a short term negative for the stock as some of the rumor money is taken back but I don't think the XBox loss changes the excellent execution that has been coming from AMD nor will it affect this quarters earnings which I expect to be very good. We are coming up on the quarterly results and I am still hoping for a runup of anticipation. I haven't decided on whether it will be calls or actual stock and I am still in a wait and see mode on the price that I am looking for but although I may be a fool I am looking to buy. I wrote a ton of puts today at 40 & 37.5 for April.> Elmer, Unfortunately I have been busy and I have not been able to keep up with the thread lately but I said that I would post my trade if I made one and I have indeed made one. I saw the price at 48.00 this morning and couldn't pass it up. Unfortunately my fingers and heart aren't nimble enough and I didn't get my trade in until 49.25 which is the price at which I bought 2000 more shares. I am now long 10000 shares but I only have 41% equity in them which should tell you just how bullish I am. If AMD moves significantly against my position things sure could get ugly for me fast! Regards, Epinephrine PS: I see as of the time of my posting this that it is back down to 48.3125 and although I realize that by posting this I am opening up myself to endless ridicule by Paul, I promised to post my trade and here it is.
